4x4 Picture Sudoku
Sudoku without numbers: 4x4 grids where four animals must appear only once per row and column. Solve the first ones together by thinking out loud, then let your child investigate on their own. Keep the pictures loose without glue so they can change their mind anytime.

Step by step
- Print the pre-filled 4x4 grids and animal cards, then cut them out.
- Each animal can only appear once per row AND once per column.
- Solve the first grid together by thinking out loud ("this row already has the cat... who is missing?").
- Place the pictures loosely on the grid so they can move them and self-correct freely.
- Check the answers line by line, sliding a finger along each row and column.
- Try grids with fewer clues, jump to 6x6, or let your child BUILD a puzzle for you to solve.
