Step by step
- Print 6 to 8 colorful footprints or targets and clear a 2 to 3-meter strip of floor.
- Lay the sheets down in a gently winding path, 30 to 40 cm apart, while baby is looking away.
- Place baby on all fours in front of the first sheet and sit down at the very end with your arms wide open.
- Cheer them on from sheet to sheet (“you reached the red one!”) while tapping the next target. If they pause or wander off, no stress: popping a favorite toy on the next sheet usually gets them moving again.
- Scoop them up at the finish line, celebrate, and lay out a new path (curved, zigzag) as long as they want to keep playing.
- Tidy up the sheets together (crinkling them is half the fun!) and save them for next time.
