Step by step

  1. Pick one or two realistic, genuinely useful chores together (feeding the cat, watering the plant).
  2. Print the illustrated weekly chart and place the chore cards on the days chosen BY your child.
  3. Hang it at their eye level, right where the chore takes place (near the plant, by the food bowl).
  4. "What does your chart say today?" and let them check by themselves.
  5. Once the mission is done, your child flips or ticks off the card.
  6. Don't secretly do it for them; check the result together ("Does the plant look thirsty?") and praise consistency.
