Getting Dressed Sequence Cards

Morning clothes on cards to put in order on the table first: underwear before pants, socks before shoes. Try out silly combos for a laugh (shoes first?). Once approved, hang the sequence by the bed to guide busy mornings.

Step by step

  1. Print 5 or 6 clothing cards (underwear, socks, pants, sweater, shoes).
  2. Spread the cards randomly across the table and ask, "What goes on first?"
  3. Try silly combinations for a laugh: "What if we put shoes on before pants?", try it out, and see what happens.
  4. Line up the cards in the order you agreed on together.
  5. Hang the sequence right by the bed or wardrobe.
  6. Every morning, your child follows THEIR sequence; sort summer/winter versions as the seasons change.
