Step by step
- Print the boards and letter cards, starting with the letters in your child's name.
- Say each letter's name AND the sound it makes (“this is A, it says ahhh”).
- Let them draw a card and try to name it, stepping in with gentle help if needed.
- Find the matching letter on the board and place the card right on top.
- Celebrate “their” special letters (“L for Leo!”): emotional connection makes learning click.
- Match uppercase with lowercase, then match letters to pictures that start with that sound.
