Step by step
- Set up the big target on the floor: 3 concentric circles printed or drawn on sheets of paper.
- Scrunch up about ten paper balls together: great workout for little fingers already.
- Lay down a strip of paper on the floor as a throw line, keeping it very close to the target at first.
- Take turns throwing and aiming for the center. Talk about where the balls land without judging misses. If nothing hits the target, move the line closer instead of guiding their arm.
- Count the balls inside the target together after each round.
- Step back, aim for the smallest circle, try underarm then overarm throws. Picking up the balls is part of the game.
