Photo Labels for Tidy-Up Time
Each toy bin gets a photo of what goes inside: cars, books, stuffed animals. When the clean-up song plays, every toy heads back "home"—with your child in charge and you right beside them, helping out without taking over.

Step by step
- Take photos or print pictures of what belongs in each bin (cars, books, stuffed animals).
- Stick each label onto its bin together with your child.
- Walk around the bins together and introduce the game: "every toy has its own home!"
- Always kick off tidy-up time the same way (with a dedicated song), and pitch in alongside them.
- Ask questions instead of giving orders: "Where does this book live?" and let your child decide.
- Try subcategories (big vs. little cars), tidy up with spoken clues only, or give them their own dedicated zone.
