Step by step

  1. Print the boards twice and cut one copy into individual cards.
  2. Set up a board for each player (start with just one shared board) and stack the cards face down.
  3. Flip a card and SAY the word out loud: that's the main rule!
  4. Find the matching picture on the board and place the card on top.
  5. Fill the board together cooperatively first, then try taking turns with a board each. If your child wants to hoard all the cards, switch back to team mode: taking turns comes with age.
  6. Use 8-picture boards, mix similar categories (farm vs. jungle animals), or name the target BEFORE flipping.
